Southampton target Dirk Kuyt to join Feyenoord at the end of the season
[divider]Dirk Kuyt will join the Eredivisie club Feyenoord at the end of the season according to reports in the Turkish Media.
The Turkish newspaper Fanatik states that the Netherlands international will play for his former side Feyenoord and then retire from professional football.
The newspaper also stated that Fenerbahce have decided not to offer the 34-year-old a new contract, as they are aiming to lower the average age of their squad next season.
Premier League sides Southampton and Sunderland are interested in signing Kuyt. The hard working forward’s contract with Fenerbahce runs out at the end of the season.
The Netherlands international joined Fenerbahce from Liverpool in 2012 for €1 million.
Kuyt has made one assist and scored two goals in 12 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
