Arda Turan famously threw his football boot at a linesman while playing for Atletico Madrid last season and while hurling footwear at match officials is never advised it does seem to have given the bearded winger a feared character in the Barcelona dressing room.

Ironically Turan was facing his current side Barcelona in the semi-final stages when he saw red and responded to his boot coming off in a challenge by throwing it at the assistant referee.
The Turkish international boot slinger appears to have established himself as a no nonsense guy at Barcelona after joining the club over the summer.
Turan told Cadena Ser in a recent radio interview: “I suffered some joke when joining Barça? No, they didn’t dare. They’re afraid I’d throw a shoe at them… (laughs)”
The boot narrowly missed the official’s head and resulted in the Turkish international being shown a yellow card.
Atleti ended up losing the game 3-2 and bowing out of the competition that Turan has previously won in the past.
Turan joined Barcelona on a five-year deal from Atletico Madrid and has made five appearances for his new side since making his debut a fortnight ago against rivals Espanyol.
