Crystal Palace have joined the race for Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike according to Sky Sports.
Palace are reported to have made a counter bid rivalling that of West Ham in an attempt to clinch the deal.
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is however, the only representative from either club to confirm interest in the Nigerian international.
The Croatian manager confirmed that Emenike is also on his transfer list along with Galatasaray forward Burak Yilmaz.
Bilic told Hürriyet reporter İzzet Çapa: “There is a striker problem right now at West Ham and if the board agree to sign a forward Burak Yilmaz and Emmanuel Emenike are both on my transfer list.”
The Hammers boss is however, uncertain whether Fenerbahce are willing to part ways with Emenike considering it would leave them stretched upfront.
“There is no agreement with Emenike he is an important player but Fenerbahçe may need an extra striker and I am uncertain if they will release him,” Bilic told Fanatik.
Fenerbahce forwards Robin van Persie and Fernandao are currently in good form but the Yellow Canaries have no cover if both were to get injured.
Canaries boss Vitor Pereira has requested an additional striker to the board and could be tempted to keep Emenike who has been in great form on loan at Al Ain scoring seven times in 11 games.
