Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has added intensity and aggression to the team according to Arda Turan.
The bearded winger believes the Barcelona have become a more aggressive side under the stewardship of Luis Enrique and that he is well suited to the playing style.
“I feel very identified [with Luis Enrique]. He is intense and aggressive. The club has always had soul and quality. But he brings aggression,” Turan was quoted as saying as saying by Football-Espana
Turan is no stranger to aggressive playing styles having joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid who are renowned for their intensity and discipline.
The bearded winger was one of the stand out players in Simone’s side going onto to win everything from the La Liga to the Europa League under the command of the Argentinian manager.
Turan gained a reputation as being a hard working player with a creative spark at Atleti and has hit the ground running at Barcelona.
The reigning La Liga champions have won all eight games since Turan made his debut against rivals Espanyol last month.
