Beşiktaş must concentrate better says Bilic [divider]

Slaven Bilic congratulated his players following the 3-1 win against Akhisar at the Başakşehir stadium.

“It was a tough game but I thought he did enough to deserve the victory,” Bilic said.

“We were excellent in the opening 25 minutes but our performance dipped in the second half. 

“The players grew tired and you cannot afford to play under full capacity against a tough side like Akhisar. 

“We have to learn how to concentrate better and see games out. 

“The next four games are all going to be very tough but we will have the added bonus of having a few key players returning.

“We were without Demba Ba again and Gökhan Töre was ill but both managed to make an appearance late on. 

“This was a vital game but we need to train a lot harder, I will be making some changes in training to imrpvoe our fitness and performance.”

Beşiktaş won their sixth Süper Lig game in a row to move into first place.

The Black Eagles started without Ba, Töre and Oğuzhan Özyakup due to injury and illness.
