Manchester City target Sneider is ‘happy’ at Galatasaray says agent
[divider]Wesley Sneijder’s agent Guido Albers has refuted reports in the media which state his client is looking for a move away from Galatasaray.
“The reports in the media are not true. I did not meet with Galatasaray last week,” Albers stated.
Albers did confirm that he met with Galatasaray following Galatasaray’s defeat against Anderlecht in the UEFA Champions League.
“We spoke about extended my client’s [Sneijder’s] contract.
“Sneijder has 1,5 years remaining on his contract and we spoke about the clubs intentions regarding his future.
Albers also dismissed reports which suggested Sneijder was still having problems receiving his wages.
“Some people are trying to make out that there is a financial problem.
“Sneijder has had no problems receiving his wages. My client his happy here, everybody should know this.”
Southampton, Manchester City and Manchester United are reported to be keeping tabs on the Netherlands international.
Sneijder joined Galatasaray from Inter in 2013 for €8 million and still has just under 1,5 years remaining on his contract.
