Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has stated that he expects an equal game when Arsenal take on Barcelona tonight in the UEFA Champions League.
Herrera went onto say that the Gunners pose a threat from fast attacks constructed by Mesut Ozil.
“Yeah, I see Barça as superiors. Not much superiors, but superiors at the end of the day. It will be a beautiful knockout game,” Herrera was quoted as saying the the Metro.
“I believe it will be equal. Barça alternate possession stages with a game without the ball.
“And Arsenal dominate the game very much, but they also attack quickly, with Alexis, Walcott and Oxlade. That’s why it’s going to be a beautiful match.”
Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 31 games but will be without Arda Turan who is suspended.
Özil who has been in fantastic form. The World Cup winner has 17 assists in the league this season – the highest in the Premier League.
The World Cup winner has also created the second highest number of chances in Europe’s top five leagues (216) after West Ham’s Dimitri Payet this season.
