West Ham beat Tottenham 1-0 in the London derby at Upton Park to close the gap with fourth placed Manchester City to just one point.

Antonio scored for the second league game running to put the Hammers ahead on seven minutes.

On-loan Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike started for the east London based club and worked assiduously closing Tottenham defenders throughout the game until he was replaced by Andy Carroll on 73 minutes.

Emenike received a standing ovation from the West Ham faithful for his contribution and the Hammers managed to hold onto their slender lead to maintain their unbeaten home record that stretches back to August.
