Mesut Ozil has revealed that he is ready for the north London derby when Arsenal take on rivals Tottenham in their top of table clash today at White Hart Lane.
Ozil shared a picture on Instagram alongside the caption: “Tomorrow matchday!!! #BeTheDifference #ACE16 #NorthLondonDerby #THFCvAFC #COYG #BigMatch”
Ozil will be hoping to build upon his impressive assist record for Arsenal today when he starts against Tottenhan.
The World Cup winner is closing in on Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s league record of 20 in a single season.
Ozil has also hit the back of the net seven times in all competitions – his highest goal record since joining the north London based side from Real Madrid in 2013.
The Gunners star does however, have some way to go if he is going to match Henry’s 228 goals for Arsenal.
Arsenal are currently in third place just three points behind second placed Tottenham in the Premier League table.
