Liverpool fought back from a goal to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park despite going down to 10 men after James Milner was sent off.
Joe Ledley gave Palace the lead just after half-time and the Reds looked to have blown any chances of a comeback when Milner was shown a red card for a second yellow on 62 minutes.
With Milner sent off Emre Can took responsibility in midfield and put on a man of the match performance.
Can worked assiduously trying to break up Palace attacks and was a threat going forwards making the highest number of successful dribbles (5).
The Germany international of Turkish origin was hugely influential both defensively and in the final third. Can made the highest number of passes for his side with 83 percent accuracy helping his side retain possession even when down to 10 men.
Palace keeper McCarthy gifted Firminho an equaliser on 72 minutes and Benteke scored a last minute penalty for the victory.
