Liverpool looked down and out after going behind against Crystal Palace at Selhurt Park followed by James Milner getting sent off. The Reds were however, able to count on Emre Can who worked hard trying to cover for the absence of fellow midfielder Milner as well as focusing on his own game. The Germany international of Turkish origin worked assiduously trying to break up Palace attacks and was a threat going forwards making the highest number of successful dribbles (5) in what was a man of the match performance.

Barcelona made history yet again beating Eibar 4-0 to extend their unbeaten run to 36 games. Arda Turan started for Barca and has now won all 14 games in which he has featured in for his new club. The bearded winger who has won his first 10 Liga games is nearing on Alex Song’s Barca record of winning his first 12 consecutive league games.
Hakan Calhanoglu
The Bayer Leverkusen playmaker has a checkered history when it comes to penalties but was on target to earn his side a memorable 3-3 draw against Augsburg. Bayer came from three goals behind to score three times in the last half-an-hour. Calhanoglu now has eight goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.
Bilal Basacikoglu
The Feyenoord youngster came on as a second half substitute to set-up Eljero Elia for the teams third and final goal in his sides 3-1 victory Cambuur over the weekend. Despite playing just 20 minutes the Turkish youth international setup two goalscoring chances. The 20-year-old winger now has three goals and six assists in all competitions this season.

Mesut Ozil
Arsenal held Tottenham to a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane in the north London derby despite going down to 10 men. Mesut Ozil started but did not exactly put on a stellar performance and uncharacteristically failed to create a single goal scoring opportunity.
Ilkay Gundogan
Borussia Dortmund kept their title hopes alive holding Bayern Munich to a goalless draw. Gundogan started for Dortmund and helped his side keep possession with his 91 percent accuracy passing. The draw saw Dortmund remain five points behind Bayern in the Bundesliga table.
