Emre Can has taken to social media to show support for his Liverpool teammate Daniel Sturridge ahead of next weeks clash with Manchester United in the Europa league.
The 22-year-old has taken his weekend off to travel back to Germany where he met up with friends.
Can posed for a picture on his friends social media account and paid and Can paid tribute to Sturridge by wearing one of the striker’s range of baseball caps.
Can played the full 90 minutes during the Red’s 2-0 win over United earlier this week. The 22-year-old put on an impressive performance making four successful tackles and one interception.
The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder helped his side keep possession with a passing accuracy of 85% after making 68 passes. Can also contributed on the attacking front with two successful dribbles and one key pass.
Liverpool take on Manchester United in the second leg of their Europa League tie next Thursday.
