Mesut Ozil is in the midst of his best season since joining Arsenal on a record £42.5 million transfer from Real Madrid in 2013.
Brittish journalist and die-hard Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has named Ozil in his Premier League of the season so far.
Ozil is joined by Arsenal team-mates Petr Cech and Monreal in Morgan’s team. League leaders Leicester City have four players in his side – Morgan, Kante, Mahrez and Vardy – which is no surprise considering the fairytale season they have been having.

Ozil is currently the league leader for assists in the Premier League (19) and has seven goals in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
The World Cup winner has also created more chances than any other player in the league (116) but his teammates have failed to capitalise.
Arsenal are currently third in the league 11 points behind Leicester City with a game in hand but have scored the fewest goals in the top-four this season.
