Konyaspor manager Aykut Kocaman revealed that he pleased to end his sides three game losing streak following the 1-1 draw against Rizespor.
“Neither team wanted a draw, both sides will be disappointed with the result,” Kocaman said.
“Rizespor struggle at home, we struggle away, the only positive is that we did not lose.
“Rizespor deserved to take the lead in the first half but we were the better side after the break and got the equaliser.
“We have struggled in the final third over the past few weeks but the first shot on target Rizespor had resulted in a goal.
“The boys responded well to going down a goal and we did play some decent football afterwards.
“I am just pleased we did not lose at the end of the day, a point against Rizespor is not that bad a result really.”
Konyaspor have the worst away record in the league, the Anatolian Eagles have only secured three points on the road all season.
Kocaman’s side go into the winter break in 12th place on 17 points.
