Emre Can put in an industrious display during Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham in the Premier League today.
The Germany international played the full 90 minutes in midfield after spending the international brake being deployed in defence.
Coutinho put the Red’s ahead in the 51st minute but Jurgen Klopp’s side were only able to hold the lead for 12 minutes.
Harry Kane levelled the score for the visitors in the 63rd minute. Emre Can received a yellow card one minute later for a trip.
Liverpool remain in ninth place with 45 points in 30 games following todays draw. Tottenham could drop two more points behind league leaders Leicester City if they defeat Southampton tomorrow.
