Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is renowned for being a little eccentric but according to Emre Can he is absolutely crazy.
Can stated that Klopp is the most emotional coach he has ever worked with and underlined that he is a great to work with.
“I’ve never had such an emotional coach, Jürgen Klopp is a great coach,” Can told Sport1.
“Anyone who knows him, knows that he is a crazy coach in a positive sense and will help the players. It is a lot of fun to work with him, and I’m learning a lot from him. “
Klopp first made a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund winning two Bundesliga titles and reaching the Champions League final.
Can had formerly played against Klopp during while at Bayer Leverkusen but he got the chance to work under the stewardship of the German manager this season after he replaced Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp has deployed Can in his favoured central midfield position – the 22-year-old was used as a full-back and defender under Rodgers.
Can is expected to start for Liverpool against Klopp’s former side Borussia Dortmund on Thursday in the Europa League quarter-final first-leg.
