Liverpool star Emre Can believes the Europa League quarter-final clash against Borussia Dortmund is one of the biggest games in the world.
Can may have been a tad hyperbolic but there is no doubting that Liverpool and Dortmund are two of the most well known and the Reds are definitely one of the best supporter.
The 22-year-old midfielder told Sport1: “It’s a special game for me we do not even need to discuss my mood, it’s just great, one of the biggest games in the world. Therefore, it will be a beautiful match.”
The clash is probably the biggest game of the quarter-final round as two of the favourites to win the competition go head to head.
Dortmund are in great form having not lost in 2016 and just five points behind league leaders Bayern Munich but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp knows the team inside out having coached the German giants for years.
Klopp is arguably responsible for the current Dortmund side – well the backbone of the team – with several stars such as Nuri Sahin and Ilkay Gundogan bursting onto scene under his stewardship.
