Galatasaray to make last ditch attempt to sign Trabzonspor target Uğur Demirok
[divider]Galatasaray are set to make one last attempt to sign Uğur Demirok from Akhisar Belediyespor.
Trabzonspor were reportedly set to sign Demirok from Akhisar. The Black Sea Storm have agreed to pay Akhisar €3 million along with Soner Aydoğdu and Mustafa Yumlu.
Trabzonspor have agreed personal terms with Demirok.
Galatasaray board member Abdurrahim Albayrak has reportedly held talks with Demirok last night and have also agreed personal terms with the defender.
Demirok’s agent Uğur Avadan recently confirmed that Trabzonspor, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old.
“Uğur’s contract finishes at the end of the season. He has been performing well and has earned national team caps. The interest shown in him is normal and is to be expected,” Avadan said.
“Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Bursaspor and Kasimpasa have all expressed an interest.”
The 26-year-old defender who started his career at Galatasaray has been at Akhisar since 2011.
Demirok’s contract with Akhisar runs out at the end of this season has made 15 appearances for his club this season.
