Liverpool midfielder Emre Can is ready to return to the squad according to the Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp.
Can returned ahead of schedule from an ankle injury he sustained during his sides 4-3 win over Dortmund last month.
Emre Can is ready to return to the squad for sure,” Klopp was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
“Hendo is in a good way for England, I’m not sure how good a way it is for Liverpool.
“He’s not been on the pitch until now. We will have to see day by day how that improvement is.
“Only Emre will return to the squad for this game.”
Can has three assists and two goals in 46 appearances for Liverpool this season. The Germany international has thrived under Jurgen Klopp and is a important member of Liverpool’s starting line-up when fit.
Liverpool take on the Spanish outfit Villarreal in the Europa League semi finals second leg on Thursday. The Red’s will look to overturn a 1-0 defeat from last week’s first leg encounter with Villarreal.
