Özil praises Arsenal teammates for ‘strong team performance’ [divider]
Arsenal star Mesut Özil praised his teammates for a strong performance following the 3-0 win against Stoke City in the Premier League.
Özil tweeted: “Really strong team performance! What a successful sunday afternoon for my return!”
Özil was brought on in the 72nd minute after spending the last three months out with knee injury.
The 26-year-old completed 22 passes with a 90 percent pass accuracy.
Theo Walcott also came back from a long term injury to make an appearance against Stoke.
Özil has made two assists and scored one goal in nine appearances for the North-London based club this season.
Arsenal moved into fifth position following todays win with 36 points from 21 games.
