Manchester City striker Enes Unal has revealed that he wants to establish himself at the club.
“I am working hard for my goal: to be a City player and to score goals at the Etihad Stadium,” he told the official Manchester City website.
“I hope in the near future I can make this happen and that we can win trophies together.”
The Turkish international joined City on a £2 million transfer fee from Bursaspor over the summer transfer window but was unable to play in England due to not having a work permit.
The 19-year-old was sent out on loan to Belgium to gain experience and enough playing time in Europe to help push through his work permit to play in England.
Unal failed to settle in at Genk and was subsequently loaned out to Dutch side NAC Breda in January were he has excelled scoring nine times in 11 games.
The young striker is expected to spend next season on loan as well but he may get a look in with Pep Guardiola set to replace Pellegrini over the summer.
Unal could also end up joining the Turkish national side in the European Championship this summer.
