Emre Can has stated that he wants to win his first trophy with Liverpool when the Red’s take on Sevilla in the Europa League final.
The 22-year-old has yet to win any silverware with the Reds but has the chance to do so at the end of the month when his side take on Sevilla in Basel.
Can is credited with winning multiple trophies during his spell at Bayern Munich however, Can played a minor role in the side.
“I think everybody is training hard for a game like this,” Emre can told Liverpool’s official website.
“I’ve never won a final with Liverpool up to now – and I want to win that final and my first trophy with Liverpool.
“I will give my best, the team will give its best and then we want to win the game and hopefully we will do it.”
This would be the first European competition final that Can has ever made an appearance in if Jurgen Klopp does indeed start him.
Can played a key role in the Reds beating Villarreal 3-0 in the Europa League semi-final second leg and is likely to feature in the final.
