Kavlak – ‘Besiktas have not played a home game all season’ [divider]

Veli Kavlak admitted that it has been tough playing without a stadium but he believes the future looks bright for Beşiktaş.

“I have been here for 3.5 years, it has been a long time and we have gone through a lot but things are finally on the up,” Kavlak told Radyospor.

“We do not have a stadium, we have played every game on the road, there has been no such thing as a home game this season.”

Kavlak also revealed that he never considered leaving Beşiktaş despite entering talks with other clubs.

“I never even considered leaving Beşiktaş and that is why I extended my contract,” he said.

“We are building an amazing stadium and I cannot wait to play there next season. 

“This is a club on the rise, we are going to really make a name for ourselves over the next few seasons.”
