Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the transfer of FC Nordsjaelland youngster Emre Mor on their official website.
Dortmund revealed that Mor has signed a five-year deal but have not disclosed the transfer fee.
The sporting director of Dortmund Michael Zorc stated that he believes Mor has huge potential: “Emre Mor is a highly gifted and offensive versatile young player with huge potential for development.”
Mor meanwhile underlined that he is delighted to have joined the Bundesliga giants.
“BVB is a great club in Europe with unique fans. I am looking forward to the new team-mates and to start the season, ” he said.
Mor left the Turkey training camp after getting permission from Fatih Terim to travel to Germany and complete the deal.
The 18-year-old has become the latest Liverpool target to sign for the German giants despite ESPN reporting that the Reds had also made an offer.
The Daily Star reported that the Reds were actually favourites the sign the Denmark born wonder-kid.
Mor broke into the Turkish national team Euro 2016 squad after just one senior cap and is poised to make an impact for his side over the course of the tournament.
The young attacking midfielder was also recently scouted by Juventus who kept tabs on him during the 1-0 victory over Slovenia last week.
