Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman confirmed that Fenerbaçe have made an offer for Mustafa Pektemek but underlined that he expects the Turkish international striker to stay at the club.

“I do not think Mustafa will leave,” Orman told NTV Spor.

“I cannot see it happening, Fenerbahçe made his agent an offer but I do not see it going ahead, he is happy at Beşiktaş and I do not see him leaving.”

Pektemek is free to enter direct talks with other clubs due to his contract set to run out at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old striker is currently out with a serious facial injury.

Pektemek joined the Black Eagles on a £3.2 million move from Gençlerbirliği in 2011.

The TUrkish international has 16 goals and eights assists in 89 appearances for Beşiktaş.
