Fenerbahce full-back Gokhan Gonul wants to move to another European leave over the summer he revealed.
Gonul revealed: “You never know what is going to happen next but I want to continue my career in Europe.”
The Turkish international full-back has been closely linked with a move to West Ham over the transfer window.
Daily newspaper Sabah, the Hammers are interested in signing the 31-year-old and Slaven Bilic is familiar with the Fenerbahce star having spent two seasons coaching Besiktas before moving to the East London based outfit.
Gonul is currently available on a free contract but Fenerbahce are keen on renewing his deal.
Turkish champions Besiktas have also been closely linked with the experienced full-back but have yet to reach an agreement.
Gonul goes into Euro 2016 as Turkey’s first-choice right-back and is expected to play a key role for his side over the course of the tournament.
The 31-year-old right-back provided four assists and one goal in 23 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
