World champions Germany beat Ukraine 2-0 in their opening Group E game in Euro 2016.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil started for Germany and provided an assist setting up Bastian Swinesteiger with the second goal to wrap up all three points.
The victory was the first by a two-goal margin in the tournament so far.

Ozil finished the Premier League season with the best assists record (19) and continued his impressive goal providing form with another in his first Euro 2016 appearance. So he probably does deserve the following title.
