Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken a breather from Euro 2016 along with his teammates following their 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland.
The German FA released a selection of pictures showing Ozil and co relaxing by the pool. The 27-year-old’s side take on Italy in the the next round of 2016
Germany finished Group C in top spot after picking up seven points from their three games. Joachim Low’s side also defeated Ukraine 2-0 and drew 0-0 with Poland.
Ozil started for Germany against Northern Ireland and put on a brilliant display for the national team but was unable to add to his assist tally.
While Ozil failed provide an assist, he did complete 98 percent of his passes and create six goal scoring opportunities.
Ozil has started all three games for Germany and provided the assist for Germany’s second goal against the Ukraine during their 2-0 victory.
