Besiktas president Fikret Orman has revealed the club may consider selling Gokhan Tore to meet FFP regulations.
“FFP has actually helped us, we strike better deals, have cut inefficiencies and the club is overall in a more healthy place,” Orman said in his latest press conference.
“We have not transfer listed Gokhan Tore he is a very important player but if he wants to leave we will sell him for the right price.”
The Black Eagles are currently under no threat of expulsion from European footballing competitions or fines but are on an FFP program to fall in line with the financial guidelines.
Besiktas have reduced debt and increased revenues under the stewardship of Orman and made a profit for the first time in a decade last season.
The Istanbul giants want at least £15 million for the Turkish international winger and Slaven Bilic is keen on bringing in the explosive winger.
Tore missed out on Euro 2016 after picking up a two match suspension in the final qualification game before Euro 2016.
West Ham are reported to have agreed personal terms with Tore who wants to make the move a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.
The Hammers and Besiktas are however, yet to agree a transfer fee for the 23-year-old.
