Fenerbahce star Ozan Tufan has attracted a lot of interest following an impressive debut season at the Turkish giants with Manchester United, Everton, Southampton and Sunderland all being linked with the 21-year-old.

The Newcastle Cronical has reported that the Red Devils have been monitoring the Turkey international closely over the past 12 months.

The Yellow Canaries signed Tufan for €7 million from Bursaspor last season but now value the box-to-box midfielder as being worth €20 million.

Tufan is currently the youngster player to have scored in Euro 2016 following his brilliant strike in the 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic.

The young midfielder has had a meteoric rise from total obscurity to becoming one of the most highly sought after players in the Super Lig and a Turkish national team regular.

Fenerbahce manager Vitor Pereira recently described Tufan as reminding him of Manchester City star Yaya Toure.

“He still has a lot to learn and that is my job but the world will soon have a central midfielder on the level of Yaya Toure on their hands,” he said speaking on Sport Tv following Turkey’s 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic.

The hard working midfielder started in all three matches for Turkey in Group D over Euro 2016 and has a total of two goals and one assists in 27 international games.
