Valencia youngster Ferhat Cogalan has been closely linked with Manchester United and Arsenal over the past week.
The 14-year-old wonder-kid is worth €13 million according to his father Sedat and in an interview he gave to Turkish television channel Beyaz Tv a few months ago he revealed that his son was on the shortlist of Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Bayern Munich.
“Valencia want at least €13 million for Cogalan and do not want to let him go,” he told Beyaz Tv.
United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on signing Cogalan this summer according to French daily La Voix Du Nord.
The Red Devils recently held talks with Cogalan’s father and representative Habib Antar at Carrington where the rising star had a trial.
Cogalan has another five-years remaining on his contract with Valencia but his father revealed that he will will consider a move from United.
Ferhat’s father Sedat said: “We’re in no hurry because Ferhat is in contract with Valencia until 2021.
“But when a club like Manchester United invites us, it is logical that we study the proposal, right?”
