Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has taken to social media to celebrate Germany’s victory over Italy in the quarter finals of Euro 2016.
The world champions booked a spot in the semi finals of the competition following a penalty shoot-out win over the Italians
Can was once again an unused substitute for the game. The 22-year-old is yet to feature at this summers tournament.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram after the game to celebrate the victory along with the caption, “What a night!!! Semifinal”
Can is however in contention of making an appearance in the semi finals with Sami Khedira ruled out and Bastian Schweinsteiger struggling for fitness.
Germany will now take on the winner of the the hosts France in the Euro 2016 semi-final. The winner of that game will take on either Portugal or Wales in the final.
