Mesut Ozil looks to be in a relaxed mood ahead of Germany’s semi final clash with the Euro 2016 hosts France on Thursday.
The 27-year-old took to social media to upload a picture of himself sunbathing along with the following caption, “Enjoying the sun.”
The Arsenal playmaker scored Germany’s only goal against Italy in regulation time but when it was his turn to score in the penalty shoot out he missed. Ozil has now missed both his penalty efforts at Euro 2016 and four of his last five penalties for club and country.
Germany are unbeaten in Euro 2016 after recording a win over Northern Ireland, win over Ukraine and a scoreless draw with Poland. Joachim Low’s side also defeated Slovakia 3-0.
The 27-year-old now has one goal and one assist for Germany in this summers competition and is once again expected to start in the semi finals. Germany take on the hosts France in the semi-finals of Euro 2016 on Thursday evening and will face either Wales or Portugal if they make it thought to the final.
