Beşiktaş took an early lead when Adanaspor defender Bardakçı scored an own goal but Özcan equalised just three minutes later for the home side.

Ba was brought on at half time to add more firepower upfront and the Senegalese international put the Black Eagles ahead on 70 minutes.

Atınç Nukan scored the third goal for Beşiktaş and Cenk Tosun wrapped up the three points on 83 minutes.

The win saw Beşiktaş move up into second place in Group F with six points.

Ba joined the Black Eagles on a £5.2 million move from Chelsea this summer.

The 29-year-old has hit the ground running at his new club and already has 17 goals and two assists in 22 appearances.
