Stars & Friends – Skrtel’s management company – agent Mihat Halis revealed that the transfer is very likely to go ahead and that all that remains is for Fenerbahce to wrap up contract talks with the Slovakian international.
“The clubs have agreed, we just have some personal details to sort out, it is nothing that won’t be sorted,” he said.
“It is going ahead.”
Skrtel is expected to accept Fenerbahce’s terms and officially complete his transfer to the Yellow Canaries over the next few days.
All parties involved are reported to be happy with the offer on the table. Srktel will become the third player to join Fenerbahce this summer after Roman Neustadter and PSG’s Gregory van der Wiel who joined last week.
