Olcay Sahan: Besiktas have a 60% chance of eliminating Liverpool from the Europa League
The statement read: “Beşiktaş have signed Opare on loan from Porto until the end of the 2014-15 season free of charge with an option to buy him outright.”
Opare will receive €312,500 as his salary for the rest of the season and will receive a €5,000 per match bonus as well.
The 24-year-old arrived in Istanbul last night and passed his medical examination with the Black Eagles this morning.
Opare joined Porto on a free transfer from Standard Liege in the summer but was demoted to the reserve side after failing to settle in.
The Ghanian international has 16 international caps but was not selected for the Ghana African Cup of Nations 2015 squad.
Beşiktaş are currently just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe in second place.
The Black Eagles are also in the Europa League Round of 32 where they will face Premier League giants Liverpool.
