Crystal Palace reject linked with Turkish League move

The former Crystal Palace striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super Lig.

The Turkish outlet Fotospor has stated that the Lions director of football Cenk Ergun has held talks with the Togo international’s agent.

Fotospor go onto state that Galatasaray have cooled their interest in both Wilfred Bony and Luiz Adriano due to the players high valuations.

Galatasaray came close to signing Adebayor back in January according to HaberTurk, before the former Arsenal man joined Crystal Palace.

Adebayor is currently a free agent after being released by Crystal Palace but has yet to find a new club. The Istanbul based side are in the market for a striker as Galatasaray currently lack depth in attack.

The 32-year-old provided one assist and scored one goal in 15 appearances for Crystal Palace last season however, Alan Pardew has decided against signing the experinced striker.
