Trabzonspor have joined the race for out-of-favour Chelsea striker Loic Remy according to Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv.
Per the source, Trabzonspor have joined rivals Besiktas in the race to sign the France international striker.
The Black Sea based outfit are reported to have been given the green light to go ahead and start talks after making an enquiry to Chelsea regarding the striker.
Remy has fallen further down the pecking order at Chelsea following the summer signing of Batsuhayi.
Trabzonspor are keen on a loan deal for the experienced striker as they would struggle to meet the Blues valuation.
Fanatik meanwhile report that Besiktas will send representatives to London to hold talks with Chelsea regarding the transfer of Remy.
According to the report Remy is one of five players on the Black Eagles shortlist for a replacement striker to fill the void left by Mario Gomez who has confirmed he will not be returning this summer.
