Mesut Ozil is expected to miss Arsenal’s encounter with MLS All-Star which takes place tomorrow at 00:30 (GMT).
The 27-year-old playmaker has been given an extended break by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger after featuring in this summers Euro 2016. Ozil played a staring role for Germany and lead them to the semi-finals where they were defeated by the hosts France.
Ozil scored one goal and provided one assist during Germany’s run to the semi finals. The Arsenal playmaker also boasted a pass accuracy of 91% and created 48 chances for his team-mates throughout the tournament.
The Germany international has spent his summer holiday’s relaxing is LA and is expected to team up with the rest of the squad shortly. Ozil is however a doubt for Arsenal’s opening game with Liverpool in August.
Ozil was one of the star’s of last season having recorded 19 assists and also starred in this summers Euro 2016 tournament.
