Tottenham are preparing to activate the Mainz attacking midfielder Yunus Malli’s release clause by the end of the month.
According to the Mirror, Malli’s £7.5 million release clause expires at the end of the month which may lead to Tottenham tabling a bid by the end of this week.
Tottenham who also linked with Malli back in March according to the Express. The report states that Spurs made an enquiry for the 24-year-old midfielder in January but were unable to secure a deal.
Meanwhile the Turkish football outlet Fotospor claims that Fenerbahce are set to join Tottenham in the race to sign the Mainz midfielder. Malli netter 11 goals and provided five assist in 36 appearances for Maniz last season.
The 24-year-old was included in Turkey’s squad which competed at Euro 2016 this summer in France but hardly featured for Fatih Terim’s side.
