The Turkish Super League champions has been offered a chance to sign Oumar Niasse from Everton.
A source close to the player has told Turkish-Football that Niasse has been offered to Besiktas over the past week. The report comes amid speculation linking the 26-year-old with Besiktas’ rivals Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, SkySport’s state that Sporting Lisbon, Hamburg and Fenerbahce are also in the race to sign Niasse. The former Akhisa Belediyespor striker is set to part company with Everton by the end of the transfer window according Daily Mail.
Niasse became Everton’s third most expensive player after joining from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5m back in January. The Toffees new manager Ronald Koeman has ommited Niasse from Everton’s pre-season training this summer and the Senegal international hasn’t received a squad number ahead of the upcoming season.
Niasse failed to find the back of the net in the Premier League in five attempts last season.
