Turkish international midfielder Nuri Sahin scored his first goal of the pre-season campaign with a long-range goal against Sunderland.
The experienced midfielder struck the ball from outside the penalty area giving Sunderland keeper Mannone no chance.

Sahin struggled with injuries last season and was expected to be given a rotation role this season but Thomas Tuchel has used him consistently in a starting role over the summer hinting that the 27-year-old could play an important role over the 2016-17 campaign.
Fellow Turkish international Emre Mor started on the bench for Dortmund against the Black Cats but is expected to feature at some stage over the course of the game.
