Emre Can has expressed his delight following Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Barcelona in yesterday’s pre-season friendly.
The 22-year-old has returned to training after an extended summer break in the USA following Euro 2016.
Can uploaded a picture of himself during the game to Instagram along with the caption, “Good test today! Not too bad to play in a ”friendly game” in front of 90.000 fans.”
The friendly encounter was played at Wembley in front of 89,845 supporters. Mane opened the scoring on 15 minutes for the Reds in what was his first goal since his £30 million move from Southampton.
It was former Liverpool star Mascherano who scored an own goal. Origi then extended the lead further five minutes into the second half and then summer signing Grujic scored the fourth and final goal just before the final whistle.
The Turkish international star Arda Turan also started the game but was unable to have much of an effect on the scoreline despite a decent display.
