Turkish agent Ali Bulut has confirmed that Arsenal have struck a deal with Valencia over the transfer of Shkodran Mustafi.
Bulut revealed that the North London based outfit have agreed terms with Valencia over his client.
Bulut told the German website Spox that a deal for the 24-year-old had been agreed in principle. “It now just remains for the teams to come to an agreement over the fee,” he said.
The Guardian report that the deal would cost Arsenal £25 million if it were to go through and it would offer Arsene Wenger relief in defence following injury to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista.
The final twist however, came when Mustafi’s dad has reportedly claimed that Bulut, does not even represent the Germany international.
According to Spanish publication Super Deporte, his father called the La Liga club to inform them of this.
He went onto reveal that he has not even head of interest from Arsenal let alone talks and that the club are not interested in selling his son.
