The Senegal international striker Oumar Niasse has no future at Everton according to the clubs newly appointed manager Ronald Koeman.
Niasse only joined Everton at the end of January for £13.5 million, making him the Toffees third highest signing in their history.
“Niasse, in my opinion, is not what we need for the future in that position. But good luck to the boy,” the Dutchman said, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
However, the 26-year-old’s time at the club seems to be up and he has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
A source close to the player recently told Turkish-Football that Niasse has been offered to Besiktas over the past week. The report comes amid speculation linking the 26-year-old with Besiktas’ rivals Galatasaray.
The Hurriyet newspaper recently reported that Galatasaray were front runners to sign the Senegal international striker. However, the Lion’s were unable to agree upon a loan fee with Everton who are keen to sell the out-of-favour striker.
