Manchester City defender Jason Denayer is likely to leave the club over the transfer window in pursuit of first team football.

Belgium based football agent Saffet Balkan believes Galatasaray are favourites to sign the 21-year-old despite interest from elsewhere.

Speaking on Turkish sports radio station Radyospor, Balkan said: “Denayer will struggled for playing time this season and considering he has already settled in at Galatasaray he would prefer a move there.”

Balkan believes the Citizens will send Denayer on loan as opposed to selling the Belgium international on a permanent deal.

“City want to loan Denayer out, he will most probably leave on a temporary move,” he added.

The Sun report that if City were to sell Denayer it would cost clubs interested £12 million.

Per the source, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has his eye on Denayer as a solution for his defensive crisis.

The Gunners conceded four goals against Liverpool at the Emirates in their opening Premier League game of the season.

Wenger is currently without Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Gabriel in defence.

Swansea City are also plotting a move for the 21-year-old defender according to Wales Online.

Denayer did not feature in the opening Premier League game of the season and was not even including in the squad that faced Sunderland on Saturday.
