Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has wished Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a happy birthday.
The 27-year-old star reached out to Oxlade-Chamberlain over Twitter earlier today. Ozil tweeted an image of the pair together along with the caption, “Happy birthday @Alex_OxChambo!”

Oxlade-Chamberlain was one of Arsenal’s few impressive sparks during their disappointing 4-3 defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday. The England international scored the goal which gave his side a glimmer of hope.

Ozil was left in the Arsenal squad which was defeated by Liverpool yesterday afternoon. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given 27-year-old an extended break after he lead Germany to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 where he scored one goal and provided one assist.
Arsenal take on last season’s champions Leicester City as they look to get their season back on track.
Oxlade-Chamberlain provided two assists and scored two goals in 34 appearances for Arsenal lasts season.
