Crystal Palace have turned their attention toward’s Chelsea’s France international striker Loic Remy after failing to land Liverpool’s Christian Benteke according to the Daily Star.
Per-the-source, Palace are keen to sign the Chelsea striker as manager Alan Pardew wants to improve his attacking options. The report goes onto say that Palace will use the £28 million they received from the sale of Yannick Bolasie to fund the move for Remy.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Besiktas are also interested in signing Remy. The daily sports paper states that Besiktas president Fikret Orman is set to hold talks with Chelsea over the transfer of Remy.
,Meanwhile, the Mirror states that Palace and Besiktas could face competition from the French side Lyon who are targeting Remy as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette, should Arsenal sign the star striker.
Remy scored just one goal in 13 Premier league appearances for Chelsea last season.
