Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in England holding talks with Liverpool over the possibility of loaning Christian Benteke.

The Istanbul giants manager Senol Gunes confirmed that Orman is in currently in England quoted by Turkish-football as saying: “The boss [Fikret Orman] is in London holding talks, we left transfers late last season as well.”

Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi revealed that the club are planning to sign three players by Friday.

“We are working hard to bring in three players by Friday,” Cebi was quoted as saying.

Lig Tv reported on Wednesday that Besiktas had reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool over a loan deal.

The powerful striker’s agent Eris Kismet told Turkish-football.com that his client has not agreed terms with Besiktas.

When asked if an agreement has been reached between Besiktas and Benteke the agent responded: “Not at all. There is no nothing to report on with Besiktas yet.”

The Reds priority is however, to sell Benteke for their £32 million asking price. Crystal Palace have had two bids rejected for the Belgium international striker.

The agent did however, state that interested clubs are struggling to match his asking price.

“Liverpool want to sell Benteke but clubs that are interested as unable to match his valuation,” Kismet said.

Despite falling out of favour with Jurgen Klopp the German manager has revealed that he will not allow the striker to leave on the cheap.

Klopp stated that the Reds will under no circumstances allow Benteke to leave on the cheap.

“Having six strikers is a little bit too comfortable but it’s still possible. If anybody thinks that because we have more than one striker, we make presents to other clubs, that’s the biggest misunderstanding in world football. We will 100% not do this,” Klopp was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
