Tore became the first West Ham player to provide an assist in the Olympic stadium in the process.
The Turkish international winger made more key passes than any other player over the 90 minutes (4), made three successful dribbles and pulled off seven crosses including the one that resulted in the goal.
Tore joined West Ham on a one-year loan from Besiktas for a £2.5 million fee with a £10 million buyout clause option.
The game may have been Tore’s first Premier League start but he is no stranger to top-tier football in England having first made a name for himself as a Chelsea youth before joining Bundesliga outfit HSV.
